Release notes for web applications
Tabula 2018.10.2 released
We released Tabula 2018.10.2 on Thursday 11 October 2018. In this version, we have further reduced the time it takes to load assignments when you expand a module on the assignments home page. We're continuing to investigate how to improve the speed of this page.
SiteBuilder 2.399 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.399 on Thursday 4 October 2018.
We've fixed a bug that affected adding periods of unavailability in resource bookings.
The calendar page template has a refreshed look. Also, tags on the calendar and news page templates now have better contrast, and we've updated the style of edit buttons.
When removing admin permissions from a web group, we now check if you're a member of that group. If you're a member, it's not possible to remove the group's admin permissions, which prevents accidentally deleting your own admin permissions.
Tabula 2018.10.1 released
We released Tabula 2018.10.1 on Thursday 4 October 2018.
Depending on the number of assignments, there's a delay between expanding a module on the assignments home page and being able to view all assignments for that module. We've reduced the time it takes to show the assignment title links. These links appear before the rest of the assignment information loads so that you can navigate to assignments quicker. For future releases, we're investigating how we can further reduce the loading time of the assignments home page and an assignment's summary page.
It's now possible to delete a small group teaching set that has the self-signup allocation method, as long as the allocation is not also published to tutors.
Also, in line with to remove or minimise disadvantages faced by staff and students due to a protected characteristic, we've removed gender information from profiles.
Tabula 2018.9.4 released
We released Tabula 2018.9.4 on Friday 28 September 2018. In this version:
- We've fixed several bugs
- We've incorporated recent teaching room name changes from Syllabus+
- Students can now download a .zip file of all the data about themselves stored in Tabula via their student profile
- We've amended the wording of approved extension request notifications to students to clarify when a department has adjusted the requested extension date
Tabula 2018.9.3 released
We released Tabula 2018.9.3 on Friday 21 September 2018.
There's a new department setting for approval of meeting records where multiple Personal Tutors or Supervisors are in the same meeting with the student. Now you can specify whether all or any one of the approvers must approve the record.
Also, we've fixed a bug that prevented you from scrolling exam grids horizontally in the Safari web browser.
