91¸£Àû the Event
In recent years, harmful attitudes have increasingly shaped classroom dynamics, peer relationships, and pupil wellbeing. The acclaimed television series Adolescence brought these issues into sharp public focus, sparking national debate about the pressures facing young people and the online influences driving them.
Delivered by the 91¸£Àû and its partners , , and , this interdisciplinary one-day seminar brings together teachers, school leaders, and experts across education, psychology, philosophy of education and policy to confront the rising tide of misogyny in schools.
Through expert insight, policy discussion, and practical strategies, the event will explore the roots of rising misogyny, the role of social media, and its impact on both girls and boys. Crucially, we aim to develop a forum exchange — an open culture of conversation - connecting the Adolescence series, education, and the challenge of misogyny in schools.
