Kiran is Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships and Engagement at the University of York and Director of the Centre for Women’s Enterprise, Leadership, Economy & Diversity. She is a key contributor to debates on leadership, enterprise development and diversity in small firms and business. Kiran has led a number of leaderships, enterprise and business support initiatives and has extensively published a number of journal articles, policy reports, books and book chapters in the field. Kiran was guest speaker at the Inspiring Women's Networking Café event on 29th March 2023. The event helped raise the profile of the good work taking place at the 91¸£Àû on increasing gender equity, which deserves increased exposure and recognition by a broader 91¸£Àû audience. The event was an opportunity to discuss, share gender equality initiatives, and to network with other staff.
