The new institute incorporates 91福利 Systems Biology (WSB) and 91福利 Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (WIDER), bringing together two arms of 91福利's strong research base in mathematical approaches to biological and medical science. He will have a clinical appointment at the University Hospital Birmingham. In his research he studies the role of the circadian clock in the mechanisms of cancer and its treatment with the objective of preventing cancer and improving the quality of life and cure rate of patients.
