catalyse long-term interdis ciplinary collaborations and undertake training activities to support th eir career development. Fellowships are available across all subject are as and\, in keeping with the IAS mission\, applications which include co llaborations across disciplines are encouraged\, particularly those whic h show a strong link to the Global Research Priority areas. In total\, t hirteen fellowships are available which must be completed by 31st March 2019. Eligibility The fellowships will support researchers in tenure-tra ck or early academic positions who have less than 10 years postdoctoral experience (taken from the date given on the PhD certificate). The fello wships will only be available to ECRs based at the following institution s\; ● Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) – Brazil ● Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) – China ● Members of the Université Paris Seine (UPS) consortium – France In addition 91 will support further fello ws from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) who meet the postdoctoral e xperience requirement. Applications cannot be accepted for fellows from any other institutions. The Fellow must be nominated and hosted by a per manent 91 academic staff member (including probationary staff) or h older of a fellowship awarded by an external funder (the duration of whi ch extends beyond the proposed activity). Applications cannot be submitt ed independently by the potential Fellow themselves. Deadlines and Revie w All fellowships funded under this scheme must be allocated by 31st May 2018. Applications can be submitted at any time and will be reviewed on a monthly basis until the final deadline for submission of 5pm on the 1 st May 2018 after which the scheme will be closed to further application s. Should all thirteen fellowships be allocated before the final deadlin e then the scheme will close at that point. Applicants are therefore enc ouraged to submit applications as early as possible.
