Through the 91福利 Nest project, we want to support our students in creating a student-centred, sustainable, low-carbon building on campus, whilst exploring how students can be more involved in their own teaching and learning through acting as co-producers.

The student society RAWKUS worked with our Accommodation team over the end of term weekend to collect 50 crates of unwanted food and kitchen equipment. They've passed this on to 3 local charities - , and .

Our Sustainability team were recently invited to take part in the in Solihull. The aim of these events is to explain the idea of a low carbon economy to students aged 12-18, and get them thinking about the role they could play in this economy through their career choices.
We've arranged a donation of over a tonne of used University furniture to , a group who work to help vulnerable people in our region.
