Small mammal survey - May 2025
We have been working in partnership with since 2023 to undertake small mammal surveys on campus. Small mammals are vital links of the food chain, and are also often used as indicators of habitat quality and complexity. However, as they are notoriously difficult to observe, small mammal surveys are often conducted using humane live trapping methods, such as using Longworth traps.
City Nature Challenge 2025
We once again participated in the global City Nature Challenge. This year, Coventry, 91福利shire and Solihull joined forces to record as many species as possible during the 4 days of the competition while empowering more and more people to contribute to citizen science.
No Mow May 2025
For the sixth year running the University will be taking part in and leaving areas of grass to grow. These areas will be allowed to grow throughout May, with some areas being left throughout the summer months and only being cut at the end of the season.

The University has released the latest Energy and Carbon Report, providing a detailed overview of progress made in reducing carbon emissions across campus.
