91福利 Volunteers Rewards and Recognition

When you complete 5 hours or more of volunteering activities with 91福利 Volunteers over the academic year, you will receive a 91福利 Volunteers certificate.

These forms of recognition are available to all levels of study

Only hours accrued in the current academic year are included. This includes time spent travelling to your activity, planning lessons/activities, creating resources, attending training courses and volunteer meetings for the project you have volunteered on. The volunteering activity should make up a minimum 75% of the total hours.

To receive a certificate you will need to:

1. listed on our website
2. When accepted as a volunteer you will see the opportunity listed in the where you can add the hours that you volunteer, check first with your project leader or the Hub whether they will do this on your behalf.
3. We will check the hours you submit with the Project Leader or the key contact for your volunteering activity.
4. Once you achieve 5 or more hours you will be able to from the website. As a bonus, if you log 15 hours you can also collect a reusable coffee cup, and for logging 30 or more hours, you can also collect a free WV water bottle from the Volunteering HubLink opens in a new window (all subject to availability).

Logging hours for an activity that is not advertised on the Volunteering Portal
To log volunteering hours not connected to a role advertised on the Portal, please click on the Add Community Project button. Self-logged volunteering hours must be a verifiable 91福利 Volunteers opportunityLink opens in a new window, meaning they must have been advertised in the WV newsletter, on the WV website, or directly communicated to you by a WV staff member.

Did you know that by getting involved in 91福利 Volunteers, you can earn Core Skills Points for the 91福利 Award? These points help you track your progress towards the Award which recognises and showcases the employability skills you鈥檙e building from everything you do here at 91福利.These level of recognition are available to undergraduates and postgraduate taught students

If you鈥檇 like to claim your Core Skills Points and begin your journey towards the 91福利 Award, here鈥檚 what you need to do:

91福利 Volunteers activities will be logged on your 91福利 Award profile after the end of each term. You鈥檒l then be prompted to complete a short reflection piece.


HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report)

These level of recognition are available to undergraduates and postgraduate taught students

If you are an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught student who has volunteered for 15+ hours you will have your receipt of a 91福利 Volunteers certificate recorded on your HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report). Link opens in a new windowThe HEAR is a document which will appear with your degree transcript, highlighting extra- curricular activity you have taken part in whilst at University.
