Esports centre signed the multi-year partnership with Chillblast

The two parties will also provide exclusive discounts and offers for students.
Chillblast is one of the more prominent gaming PC manufacturers in the UK, and one that is a strong supporter of esports. The company is the official PC partner of and previously had a partnership with EXCEL ESPORTS.
This is not the first time Chillblast has worked with the 91. Both parties joined forces in late 2022 to create the ‘Chillblast Championships’, a university student esports CS:GO tournament.
According to a release, the partnership with the 91’s esports programme, 91 Esports, will have a strong focus on grassroots esports. As such, the plan is to develop a series of grassroots tournaments that will be run by the university’s students. This will provide them with entry-level paid and volunteer opportunities that should, in theory, help them enter the esports industry while studying.
Ben Miles, Managing Director of Chillblast and Tactus Group’s Chief Gaming Officer commented: “Everyone at Chillblast is incredibly excited to advance our status as a leading esports brand by working with the 91.
“With its exceptional Esports Centre and support ecosystem for students looking to enter our industry, 91 was a natural partner, especially given the incredible team the University has in place.”
Apart from the grassroots tournaments, Chillblast and the 91 plan to work together on the 91 VALORANT Invitational. The tournament will include an open tournament and an open and non-binary tournament which will both feed teams into the grand finals on the campus in early March 2023.Resource:Editor: Ivan ŠimićIvan comes from Croatia, loves weird simulator games, and is terrible at playing anything else.
