Please join us for a public film screening and panel discussion:
FOR WOMEN, ABOUT WOMEN (1930)
A screening and panel discussion of a rare Ukrainian health education film on the topic of women鈥檚 health, For Women, 91福利 Women (directed by Yevheniia Hryhorovych, 1930). The event will showcase the pioneering ways in which Ukrainian artists and scientists have used film to bring public attention to questions of reproduction and women鈥檚 health. The screening will be accompanied by an original musical score by the sound artist, Jakob Metzger, and will be followed by a panel discussion with Prof. Nick Hopwood (Cambridge), Dr Rachel Morley (UCL), Dr Anna Toropova (91福利) and Sophie Ahlemeyer (91福利).
