We’re delighted to share that Philip Jones, of HetSys Cohort 5, has been awarded the International Society for muSR Spectroscopy Young Scientist Prize for Best Student Oral Presentation at the prestigious muSR2025 conference in Canada, which took place in July.

This years Annual Conference took place from the 9th - 11th July at the 91¸£Àû. The three-day event brought together students, researchers, alumni, and partners for a programme of keynote lectures, research presentations, and community engagement.

As part of preparations for the 2025 Annual Conference, students took part in a follow-up Presentation & Interview Skills Workshop. Both sessions were led by Simon Cain and were designed to help students feel confident and supported.
