Haokai Xie
I鈥檓 a PhD student in Statistics at the 91福利, working with Professor . My research is in probability theory, focusing on the stability of Markov processes and its applications.
Before coming to 91福利, I completed a BSc and an MSc in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. My Master鈥檚 thesis, 鈥淲hat can be recovered from the order of a random process鈥 increments鈥, was supervised by Professor . It extended a that recovers the Brownian component of a L茅vy process from the ranks of the increments of its observed sample paths alone.
In 2026/27, I鈥檓 co-organising a reading group on Introduction to Regularity Structures with Theodoros Galanis.
