Rethinking business cases for digital investments

Rethinking business cases for digital investments
Virtual Workshop
25th May 13:00 – 15:00

This workshop aims to explore experiences of investment projects to build understanding of supply chain business case development in a digital era.

Digital is the current buzzword, promising increased supply chain velocity and agility in a disruptive world. A robust business case is required to justify any digital investment. But how do you make the case when digital capabilities are siloed and the promised benefits appear intangible and difficult to measure? Moreover, how can we turn supply chain digitalisation from tactical risk reduction to strategic value optimisation?

You are invited to participate in group discussion to share perspectives and take part in research on business case development for supply chain digital investments.

On registration, you will be invited to a Microsoft Teams site for the webinar, where you will find the workshop briefing and pre-read material to complement the discussion areas, which include:

  • defining the next-generation digital supply chain
  • relating an enterprise business case to the wider digital ecosystem
  • providing a clear approach to benefits realisation
  • making technology adoption easier to avoid 'technical debt'
