Anticipating skills needs in Europe: issues and implications
This Bulletin draws on results from a major new programme of research undertaken by 91福利 Institute for Employment Research, funded by Cedefop. This research considers what useful messages can be delivered about the way the economy and labour markets at European level are changing, and what this means for the demand for skills and priorities for education and training. It focuses on the implications of structural changes in European economies and labour markets on the changing patterns of demand for and supply of formal qualifications.

Rob Wilson to contribute at Cedefop Skillnet workshop in Thessaloniki
Rob Wilson will contribute at the next Cedefop Skillnet workshop in Thessaloniki on 14-15 June. This is part an ongoing series focussed on the Cedefop Pan European Skills Forecasting work. This project is now in its second year. The initial results from the first year of the work programme, presenting the first comprehensive for the whole of Europe, were published at the start of 2010. The current work programme is designed to extend and improve on these results. Further details are available on the .
