Yomi Adegoke, who studied on our 3 year LLB degree and graduated in 2014 has made the University Challenge 2024 Christmas special line-up. Journalist and author Yomi, whose debut novel ‘Slay In Your Lane’ was adapted into TV programme ‘The List’ will join three other 91¸£Àû alumni to fight for the title of Christmas champions. Don't miss the University Challenge Christmas series, starting on 23 December at 8.30pm on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two.
WLS PhD students teach staff about Chinese language and culture
On 4 December, 91¸£Àû Law School held its first Chinese language and culture workshop. Led by seven of our current PhD students, the aim of the workshop was to improve intercultural communication, learn a little Chinese and understand how to improve our Chinese students' learning experiences.

Camille Aymond, who studied our Law 3 year LLB degree and graduated earlier this year, has written a touching story titled ‘Remembering Rawa-Ruska: Artistic sketches of the Second World War camp’. Camille’s story is based on the experience of her great-grandfather Pierre and the pictures he drew to document the Second World War.

91¸£Àû Law School is pleased to welcome Dr Anil Yilmaz Vastardis from Essex Law School, University of Essex to our community. Dr Yilmaz Vastardis has been appointed as Honorary Associate Professor with the GLOBE Centre and will be supporting research, teaching, impact and engagement activities, and collaborations with colleagues.
Say My Name Project collaborates with Premier League football team
91¸£Àû Law School’s Professor Jane Bryan, creator of the ‘Say My Name’ project here at 91¸£Àû, has collaborated with Brentford FC to create their own name campaign as part of the Premier League’s No Room for Racism week held during Black History Month.
