Dr Stephen Connelly and Dr Celine Tan submitted evidence to a parliamentary inquiry on debt and development. The inquiry examines the impact of high levels of debt on development in low-income countries and the tools and strategies employed to reduce the debt burden.

Student satisfaction at WLS rises to 83% in NSS

Despite the challenges to teaching over the last few years, 91¸£Àû Law School has seen its student satisfaction rate rise again to 83% in the 2022 (NSS), a 1.6% increase since 2021 and 1.7% higher than the University average.

Sunduzwayo Madise, who studied on our PhD programme from 2013 to 2017, has been appointed as Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Malawi. Sundu says he pays tribute to the WLS and the University for moulding him into the academic, and leader he is today.

91¸£Àû Law School celebrates Professor Andrew Sanders

The Law School bid a fond farewell to our former Head of School this week, when we celebrated the work and contributions of Professor Andrew Sanders. After three years in post at 91¸£Àû, Andrew officially retired at the end of May, but we couldn’t let him go without saying thank you.
