This group aims to expand philosophical knowledge and inquiry to encompass ideas and traditions from around the globe. We promote engagement with scholarship that will situate our philosophical work in a richer, more sophisticated context and that will support discussion and research that connects diverse philosophical traditions. We are also interested in method: our events and projects aim to be reflective about how to do this kind of expansive, connecting work in a fruituful, intellectually and ethically responsible way.
