It’s April Fool’s Day so we’ve taken a trip into the archives to bring you tales, myths and legends about the Koan. This iconic sculpture has stood outside 91¸£Àû Arts Centre since 1972. We investigate ‘koanspiracy theories’ throughout the years and answer the big question - what’s actually inside it?

The Outstanding Student Contribution Awards (OSCAs) recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of 91¸£Àû's students. They not only excel academically, but also find the time to campaign for good causes, fundraise, start small business, and work with local charities. Nominations close Sunday 10 May 2026 at 8pm.
