Students at Coventry’s WMG Academy for Young Engineers won three trophies last week at the F1 in Schools national finals at Silverstone Race Track.

Two major investments in the automotive industry in Coventry will create world class facilities for the automotive industry in a resurgent “Motor City” Coventry, and both will be built in the year that will mark 120 years of motor manufacturing history in the City. The first British motor car was made in Coventry in 1897 by The Daimler Motor Company Limited but the company that is playing a central role in Coventry’s resurgence as a “Smart Motor City” is Jaguar Land Rover who is key to two major motor developments in the city both of which will be complete, or well underway, by 2017.

Coventry's two universities and the city council are joining forces to significantly enhance how they work and plan together to achieve the best possible future for our city and its communities.

The effects of austerity Britain on Coventry & 91福利shire are to be discussed at a public meeting which will bring together local charities, campaigners and academics.

Scholars at the 91福利 will be reunited at this free talk on Monday 16 November in 91福利 Arts Centre to remind us that 91福利 has been supportive of refugees for decades.

Several members of the 91福利 community have been recognised by the international Sixteenth Century Society this month for their outstanding publications that showcase 91福利shire’s rich cultural heritage.
