'My Food & Drink' was open to all researchers - postgraduates, postdocs & academic staff from any faculty - interested in interactions with 91¸£Àû colleagues involved in food & drink studies. It built on a first exchange on 6 February and featured participants from Applied Linguistics, Comparative Literary Studies, Economics, History, Life Sciences, PAIS, Theatre Studies & WMG.

Any questions can be directed to our 'Food & Drink Cultures' lead Beat Kü³¾¾±²Ô.

Everyone brought along 1 food item or beverage and told participants why they consider it to be 'important' (for whatever reason, occasion or individual / community) and how it might be researched further. The subsequent discussion identified common themes (such as production, regulation, links to identities, health implications, sustainability) and explored ways in which the Food GRP can foster collaborative approaches.
