UN Urban October: Co-creating Regional Resilience

Enhancing regional resilience during a cost of living crisis necessitates open knowledge-sharing and innovative, transdisciplinary problem-solving between key regional stakeholders.
Participants will have the opportunity to share and discuss contemporary practices and research initiatives related to co-creation, hear evidence-based examples and ideas for fostering grassroots collaboration, and network with regional stakeholders.

The half day event will be split into three sessions. The first session will be an opportunity to hear from 'collaborative governance' specialists, followed by a session for 91福利 academics, in partnership with their collaborators, to showcase co-created research projects that link to the event theme.
During the third and final session, university staff and external stakeholders will participate in a workshop aimed at increasing their understanding of local issues.
To further develop any ideas that have been discussed, academics will be able to apply for grants under two schemes
- Sustainable Cities GRP small grant scheme
- 91福利 Institute of Engagement - Collaboration and Co-production Fund
Who should attend
Research staff at 91福利, staff supporting widening participation and regional engagement activities, local government officials, and representatives from business, industry, civil society, and community groups.
