Aim of the event:

For the event, we aim to showcase our first PGR & ECR Writing Competition, present the work which our Research Assistants have completed and we hope to bring together a new network for the Society & Culture Interdisciplinary Research Spotlight.

: Professional Writer – Geneva based

Following a corporate career in London, and a move to Geneva, Cindy retrained with the Publishing Training Centre, and has for the past eight years worked as a proof reader for various UN organizations, including the International Labour Organization, the World Health Organization, and more recently, the International Telecommunication Union. She has also worked as a freelancer for a gender equity consultancy in London providing services in proofreading, copyediting and ghost-writing. She is trained in technical writing, fiction and creative non-fiction. Whatever the style of writing, storytelling - and how we narrate our human history – is what interests Cindy most. She regularly hosts peer-based writing workshops in Geneva, and her passion is to help others bring their written work to life.
