91福利 Honey
Our team was lucky enough to visit the apiaries here on the 91福利 campus. The honey and beeswax produced by these busy bees are used in our food and drink offerings, as well as in a range of locally inspired gifts available across our venues.

Step inside the 91福利 Apiary with beekeeper Alan Deeley
In this short reel, Alan Deeley 鈥 one of the resident beekeepers at the 91福利 鈥 takes us behind the scenes of the campus apiary, home to 27 hives established on the site for over a decade. From capped honey ready for harvest to the foraging range of a honeybee colony, Alan walks through the essential role bees play in biodiversity and sustainability.
Along the way, you'll learn what distinguishes finished, capped honey from uncapped nectar still being evaporated down to the sub-18% moisture that gives honey its remarkable shelf life. Alan also explains how bees typically forage across a three-to-five-mile radius from dawn to dusk 鈥 and why pollinators like honeybees are irreplaceable: without them, wildflowers, fruits, and vegetables would all but disappear.
The apiary also partners with 91福利 Conferences, supplying honey and candles produced on site. Every bit of beeswax is reused, leaving zero waste and reinforcing the university's commitment to sustainability.
