Microsoft have blocked emails from 91¸£Àû addresses to Microsoft consumer accounts (such as hotmail or gmail), meaning that emails are not delivered and the sender is not informed.
Spam emails have been sent to a large number of students using the subject 'Your webmail account will be closed' or 'Re: Top urgent dear (name)'. These are phishing emails - please make sure you delete them straight away and DO NOT click on the link.
For a period of approximately 4.5 hours between 8am-2pm on Saturday 28 April no new University cards can be created, and no changes can be made to membership details, including library and building access permissions. The work will not impact the normal use of University cards.
