Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Term 3 Student Feedback Survey and in our Academic Skills workshops. Your feedback has already made a difference, helping shape university discussions on how AI is used in learning, inspiring clearer guidance on academic integrity, and the launch of our new student resources on using AI.

The 91¸£Àû is proud to host a series of free public events as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, running from 23 October to 10 November 2025. These events invite the public to engage with research that explores how society is changing – from our working lives and wellbeing to community voice and global justice.

For the next month, we're celebrating academic integrity! Enter the creative competition for a chance to win up to £100 in shopping vouchers, and visit one of our pop-up events from today to the end of November. You can talk to our Research and Academic Support Librarians or the SU Advice Centre for tailored advice about using AI, and play games on the stands to win prizes.

Do you want to learn to explain your research to people outside the university? Perhaps you want to engage people with your subject through hands-on learning activities? Do you want to learn to design a poster outside the traditional academic conference style? Book your place now on a public engagement masterclass on 29 October.

Many of us will be taking part in festivities and celebrations at this time of year. If you plan to include fireworks in your celebrations, this is a reminder that there are professional local displays you can attend, and to please be mindful of your neighbours when making your way home. One World 91¸£Àû is back for its second year this November! Join us to celebrate 60 years of 91¸£Àû's global engagement and impact. With events on campus and with partners worldwide, One World 91¸£Àû invites you to connect, collaborate, celebrate, and explore new perspectives.

Diwali​ is on 20 October. Celebrate with the Students’ Union on 21 October as they lead a day of making, music, and delicious food as part of One World 91¸£Àû.

Join us for The (Free) Breakfast Club every Tuesday, starting from 8:30am - 10:30am in The Green Room! Help yourself to a variety of hot and cold breakfast options, alongside a hot drink. Remember, once it’s gone, it’s gone - so be sure to get in quick!

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations and One World 91¸£Àû, join us for Workshop Wednesdays and other creative sessions to prepare for a dazzling international light procession that will wind through the heart of campus on 19 November.

Take a break from studying and research and get involved in a variety of activities to support your wellbeing. Visit the SU Atrium for their World Mental Health Day Fair, get active with 91¸£Àû Sport, or relax in the Library's sensory workspace. The Nook is now open Рour brand-new space tucked in between Curiositea and Rootes, created for students to pause, meet and discover. Join friendly gatherings like the Community Lounge and Global Caf̩, where you can share experiences, get creative, and make new friends.

Take part in events happening across campus to celebrate Black History Month. Design your own t-shirt with the SU, join the Law School’s 5^th Black Arts Showcase, discover the Library’s curated Ethnicity and Migration collection, or watch In the Heat of the Night with the 91¸£Àû Student Cinema.

Curated to celebrate the University’s 60th Anniversary, this exhibition showcases some (but certainly not all) of the many aspects of student life at the 91¸£Àû over the past ​six decades. Visit the Main Library entrance area on Floor 1, or the Modern Records Centre between September and December 2025 to view.

Term 1 events tickets are on sale now! That's POP!, Skool Dayz and our spook-tacular Halloween Ball! With so much more lined up, there's something for everyone. Grab your tickets now before they're gone! All proceeds go back into funding Students’ Union activities.

The Modern Records Centre have produced a range of snapshots of life in 1965, the year the 91¸£Àû first opened its doors. The exhibition, featuring a range of news, from war to fashion, is now open at the MRC Exhibition Room and will run until 19 September 2025.

Join us on this butterfly-themed event on Thursday 24th July, 10:00-11:00 and 11:00-12:00, to learn more about the Big Butterfly Count, explore what species we have on campus and have a go at contributing to the world's largest butterfly survey. This activity contributes to the 91¸£Àû Award.

We continue our 91¸£Àû at Night event series with a moth survey. Join us on Thursday 10th July at 9 am to see what species of moths can be found at this location! Spaces are limited to sign-up is essential. The activity contributes to the 91¸£Àû Award.

Our Biodiversity Walks are back! Join us on a relaxing lunchtime stroll on Monday 7th July, enjoy being surrounded by greenery and bird song, and find out more about what bird species can be found on campus. This activity contributes to the 91¸£Àû Award.

Summer at 91¸£Àû is finally here! See our opening times and find out more about outdoor activities, career advice and continued support throughout the break. We're also offering advice on next steps, from summer work opportunities, to preparing for life after graduating.

Don't forget that 91¸£Àû Arts Centre cinemas are open all Summer long. With Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning and The Phoenician Scheme still in popular demand plus Danny Boyle's highly anticipated 28 Years Later, Ballerina (from the John Wick universe) and Brad Pitt's high octane F1 movie all released this month, see what's on.

Join us from 3-7 March to celebrate languages, cultures, and the diversity of our global community. Engage in virtual and in-person activities and events, from language cafes to games nights!

Varsity 2025 will unite the whole University community as players and supporters get involved with one of the biggest sporting events in the 91¸£Àû calendar. You might not want to participate directly in sport activities, but you can still be a crucial part of #Team91¸£Àû. Our annual showdown with Coventry University returns on Saturday 1 March.
