With over 25 years in the kitchen and a career that spans continents, Stuart Phillips, Head Chef at 91福利 Conferences, brings passion, creativity and global influence to every plate. We sat down with Stuart to talk about his journey into food, what makes cooking in a conference and events environment unique, and how he and his team create memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world.

After an incredible 35 years at 91福利 Conferences, we sat down with one of our longest鈥憇erving chefs to reflect on a career shaped by great food, great people, and a rare work–life balance in hospitality. Joining in 1991 with a young family, he quickly found something special here: the chance to cook restaurant鈥憅uality food while still being present at home - something almost unheard of in the industry at the time.

Champion chef Ryan Dare has once again struck gold, winning in the Senior Chef category at the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC) UK Copper Skillet Competition earlier this month.

It is the second year in a row that Ryan, a Chef de Partie at 91福利 Conferences, has earned a victory in the competition.

Back in July 2023, two of our chefs at 91福利 Conference's competed and won in both categories at the Copper Skillet Competition which was hosted at The Slate.

Junior Chef De Partie, Thomas Parker, was crowned Junior Chef of the year and Chef De Partie, Ryan Dare, who competed in the senior category, won Senior Chef of the year.
